So the blog tour got off to a great start yesterday with True Story Book Blog. Today an all new excerpt is up at Book Suburbia. http://booksuburbia.com/archives/1591

Feeling so blessed by all the people in my life, old and new, that are helping to circulate The Wikomsette. This book represents a year and a half of my life of researching, writing, re-writing, submitting to agents and publishers, filling out forms, edits, edits, and more edits, and then all the steps to try and bring it to the public, such as; starting this website, FB page, Twitter, author pages on various sites, etc. But for all the countless hours I put in to bring this book into being, if it weren't for a growing number of other people helping to promote it, then all my work would have been for naught. My deepest thanks go to all the people in my life, either in person, or in cyperspace, that believed enough in Regina's story, to help The Wikomsette into the light.

As chronicled in a not-yet-released memoir, Emerald Lavere struggled as a young woman to become a professional ballet dancer but was hindered by her full curves. Reflecting on the journey from disdain of her figure to appreciation, has inspired a new focus for her blog. One where every person can come to read, or to share, positive messages about loving ourselves at any age and size.

Emerald Lavere is a forty-something writer, and previous stage performer. She loves most genres of books, music, and dark chocolate. She is also a fan of most things Marvel, and Bachelor Nation. Ms. Lavere lives in Southern California with her remarkably good-humored husband, three children, and a pound doggie
